Students need a shift in perspective when it comes to...
CONFIDENCE!... I asked some friends of mine and family, and they are convinced that a lot of students don't have enough confidence among themselves. Lots of students has lack of confidence, for example they are to shy to read in class, another example is they don't have enough confidence they need for school. But there are students that has lots of confidence, they have enough of confidence, so they think they are so awesome and so cool. If the students that has lack of confidence can change, they will create a big change in their school. The adults can help these students too, by convincing them to remove their shyness and to have more confidence among themselves. "It doesn't matter who you really are, it matters what is inside of you."

People have confidence in things they are good at, and the things they are sure of not making a mistake. We are usually reluctant to take the risk of making mistakes in things we don't succeed at, and I think that that is one of the main reasons why people don't have confidence.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Josel because I have been in so many classes where a teacher has asked for a volenteer to read and nobody raises their hand, eventually the teacher just has to pick somebody to read, but it shouldn"t have to get to that point. I think the reason for this is 100% confidence related. If we all had a good amount of confidence I think students would do 10 times better in school. Great job Josel!
ReplyDeleteThanks Megan and Shelcy...Its true that we need a good amount of confidence.
